The Mountains of Madness sends a team of investigators into a snowy, mysterious mountain range to rescue a lost team of miners. On the way, the team must contend with strange monsters, the slow degradation of their sanity, and the trace remnants of an ancient alien race. Few will survive this deadly adventure designed for a party of level 5 heroes, and even fewer will survive with their minds intact.
